Journey – From Wood to Steel
Early Foundations
My journey began in my grandfather’s workshop, where I learned to understand materials through touch. Those early experiences repairing and crafting small wooden objects shaped my appreciation for detail and patience.
What started as curiosity grew into passion — building longboards, skimboards, and furniture — always driven by the simple joy of shaping raw material into something functional.Design Thinking & Industrial Vision
Through my studies in Industrial Design Engineering, I learned to connect the hand and the mind — to combine creativity with structured design thinking. This education introduced me to digital modeling, production planning, and user-centered design, adding precision to my natural craft-driven approach.
Metalwork & Welding
As my practice evolved, I began exploring welding and metal construction, finding new freedom in form and structure. This shift led to a series of projects that merge wood and steel, blending the organic with the industrial.
Pieces like Verto embody this intersection — modular, tactile, and adaptable, reflecting my continuous drive to explore new making techniques.
